Sandra and Jan came direct from Berlin to celebrate their wedding in the beautiful village of Golfo Aranci at the foot of the Capo Figari promontory. Their wish was to get married in front of the crystal-clear water of Sardinia with a ceremony on the beach and a reception in front of a breathtaking sunset. As the sun-kissed waves crashed on the beach, with the blue Sardinian sea shining in the background, Sandra and Jan said YES in a ceremony performed with the ritual of the sand, a true symbolic ritual where the bride and groom hold two vases filled with sand of different colours that they will then pour into a larger vase; all this to represent the union of two different people in one life, the life they chose to face together by getting married. Sandra and Jan’s ‘yes’ was for all the guests a unique experience accompanied by the Sardinian tradition of a culture now thousands of years old.
