Nowadays, it is very difficult to choose who you want to invite to your wedding. Often at weddings, there are people you haven’t dealt with for a long time, or guests your partner doesn’t even know. Do you recognise yourself in this?
Then I will help you figure out how to organise your guest list. Together with your partner, write a draft of the guests, divide it into two parts, bride and groom guests. Remember that the budget for the reception (dinner/lunch) will be about 50/60% of the total amount. Take half of your budget and divide it by the price of the menu costs and you will work out roughly how many people you can invite. Then take the draft wedding list and start asking yourself a few questions:
.Do you hear from this person often or once or twice a year?
.Do you really want this person at your wedding?
.Does your partner know this person?
These questions will make you think and lead you to make a choice and definitely reduce your “GUEST LIST” or more importantly you will have only the people you really care on your wedding day. ….
